Two singles plus a bunk bed, or two bunk beds – ideal for families with two kids.

A twin room and a three-bed room (bunk + single), linked by a shared, lockable wheelchair-friendly bathroom – perfect for families.

Seven single beds and plenty of space, each with a lockable locker. Private bathroom right next door on the hallway, shower and toilet usable separately – great for large families or two families travelling together.
To the roomYou'll find current daily rates, all variants and availability on the rooms overview. On request we set up a cot and a box of toys for children up to age 2 in the room free of charge – just let us know when booking.

Our breakfast consists predominantly of organic ingredients, is regional and as honest as possible – but deliberately without fuss. Fresh rolls, spreads, fruit, yoghurt, soft-boiled eggs: everything a family needs for a relaxed start to the day.

A neighbourhood made for families.
Ottensen is a lively, safe part of Hamburg with short walks, plenty of cafés and kid-friendly spots. Not a loud tourist centre – a real Hamburg neighbourhood where families quickly feel at home.
Motte playground
Popular neighbourhood playground, a few minutes on foot.
Altona Museum
With its Wunderkammer for children and families – Northern Germany hands-on.
Elbe beach
By ferry or a short walk – sand, water and big ships.
Short walks
Altona station, supermarkets, bakery, pharmacy and ice-cream shop – all on foot.

Big park with a water playground – about 15 minutes by S-Bahn.
Miniatur Wunderland
A classic with kids – comfortably reached by S-Bahn.
